redFluor 710 Antibody Conjugates

Reduce background noise in fluorescence imaging with the near-infrared emission of redFluor 710. Excitable by common red lasers and compatible with standard filter sets, redFluor 710 conjugates are highly photostable and easily distinguished from a broad spectrum of fluorophores, including blue, green, yellow, orange, red, and near-infrared, making them ideal for multiplexing experiments.

RedFluor 710 Absorption & Emission Spectrum

The dashed line represents redFluor 710's absorption spectrum, and the solid line represents its emission spectrum. Multiplexed experiments work best when fluorophores without spectral overlap are selected. While the optimal excitation is near 630 nm, redFluor 710 can also be excited efficiently by a range of red and near-infrared laser lines, including 635 nm and 640 nm. This broad excitation range offers flexibility in experimental setups using different types of red lasers.

Applications in Research

redFluor 710 has a lot to offer researchers due to several key characteristics:

  • redFluor 710 can be attached at high molar ratios without significant self-quenching, resulting in brighter conjugates and more sensitive detection.
  • High photostability fluorophores are resistant to photobleaching, meaning redFluor 710 can be observed over the course of longer experiments without losing its signal.
  • redFluor 710 has minimal non-specific binding to biological molecules, which avoids much of the background fluorescence associated with high non-specific binding. This ensures a clearer image when sensitivity is crucial such as detecting low-abundance proteins or cell populations.

The stability of redFluor 710 makes it compatible with several detection systems and applications, including:
