    Source / Purification

Monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing animals with recombinant protein specific to the amino terminus of mouse ZBTB32 protein.

    Background

Zinc finger and BTB domain-containing 32 (ZBTB32), also known as testis zinc finger protein (TZFP) and repressor of GATA3 (ROG), is a transcription factor that belongs to the BTB/POZ-ZF protein family and was first identified in immune cell development and tumorigenesis (1,2). These transcription factor family members contain an N-terminal BTB/POZ domain, which mediates dimerization, and a C-terminal domain with a variable number of zinc fingers that bind DNA (3). ZBTB32 plays a role in T cell homeostasis and inhibits the development of Th2 cells by repressing GATA3 (4,5), and is required for the regulation of CD8+ T cells in response to viral infection (6). ZBTB32 is highly expressed by a subset of human and mouse memory B cells but not by naïve B cells (7,8), and is essential for the proliferative burst of natural killer (NK) cells in vivo (9).
